Zander involved Norell in his Edible Art, having her turn the camera on him. Their collaborative photography was featured in artist Gulay Alpay’s art show at FIMA in Montreal for over 70,000 art lovers to observe.
Norell met Zander at the close of Karnak Gallery, literally helping him close and empty the space with a U-Haul, and Zander littered the streets of Minneapolis with his works of art, that which Norell was unable to squeeze into her car to save, that is. Zander was in awe at Norell’s loyalty and how much she aspired to help him with his art career. So when he found out that Norell’s dream was to be a singer in a band, he knew he could help her bring that dream to life, what with being classically trained in Suzuki style violin and having previous experience being a performing member of a band in the Twin Cities in high school.
